The Carter Technocracy is an interstellar state composed of 3 systems in the Drinsaar Subsector in the Reaver's Deep Sector.
Goals
The economy of the Technocracy is based around the manufacture of technological items for export to surrounding, less advanced worlds, as the polity has a narrow technological edge over most neighbouring systems.

Although the Technocracy has enjoyed centuries of independence, the government is increasingly anxious about the growing influence of both the Solomani Confederation and the newly expansionist Carrilian Assembly.

The Technocracy maintains a small but well trained navy consisting mainly of 4,000-ton, jump-2 frigates sufficient to deter state-sponsored piracy or incursions from neighbouring systems.
The battle fleet of the Carter Technocracy Fleet includes several interesting TL–11 designs. Built on Carter (world), the Nemesis Class Destroyer is used for commerce escort and to deliver a small marine force.
