It is a member of the Carter Technocracy in the Drinsaar Subsector of Reaver's Deep Sector.
World Starport[edit]
Griffin has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
Government[edit]
While theoretically a representative democracy, the Carter Technocracy is dominated by a single political faction, the Industrialist Party, which supports a libertarian platform and holds seats on the boards of all important corporations.
Language[edit]
The primary language is Enlis, a dialect of Galanglic.
