The Partisan class Tracked AFV is a TL-9 Armored Fighting Vehicle.
- It is a military vehicle and a Tracked Military Vehicle.
Description (Specifications)
They can be carried and deploy from AB-17R Condor class Assault Boats. In service with the Armed Forces of the Yimin Jiti. They are in use with Athune Fusilier Regiments. One battery of ten vehicles and thirty crew per regiment. A massive vehicle with hull metal armor and a radically sloped chassis face. They rely on the echelon of Fusilier class ACV/GEV MRLSs as external fire direction centers for artillery missions. The size of the main weapon with its ammo storage precludes carrying passengers in this version of the vehicle.
Basic Vehicle Characteristics
Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary.

| 4. | Electronics | Equipment: Full weapons stabilization, the vehicle can not move during indirect fire missions. If they move more than half speed they are -2EFP. The vehicle is sealed with life support for three. There is a map box with GPS, thermal image, and image enhancement, a 1,000 power radio, 5 power MASER communicator, and a 40 power target acquisition RADAR. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. | Hardpoints | One fully stabilized turret on the chassis deck. The weapon is fitted with point defense and indirect fire control systems.

| 6. | Armament | Weapons: 15cm hypervelocity mass driver. It has a ROF 20 rounds per turn. The weapons has no signature. The weapon's power input is 30.015MW, mass driver rounds mass 30kg and there is storage for 400 rounds. A full load of HE and smoke rounds are provided with purchase. The weapons rolls 4 dice versus indirect fire missions in a point defense role and it can engage two targets per turn in direct fire. Its direct fire characteristics are:
The weapon requires 12 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. AmmunitionThe Ammunition available includes:
Turret mounted co-axial HMGThere is a co-axially mounted HMG in the stabilized turret, with storage for 800 rounds, enough for 20 fire phases.

| 13. | Comments | The ground pressure is 9.8277752 tons/m2. The ground pressure reduces cross country speed, but the massive 40m³ suspension means that it will not become stuck or mire in snow, mud, sand or soft ground. The power to weight ratio with the mass driver engaged is 25 and 101 with the main weapon off. The vehicle' weight precludes bridges. Finding places where it can ford rivers is problematic. Its mass and inertia mean movement at maximum speeds can be disastrous if cornering is attempted. |
History & Background (Dossier)
There are two schools of thought for their tactical deployment; one camp prefers to mass the entire battery for large fire missions at extreme range. The other issues one vehicle to each infantry company for close direct and indirect fire support. They rely on the self propelled GEV MLRS fire direction systems to coordinate artillery fire orders. Their point defense envelop is the only platform in the Athune Fusilier Regiments.
