The Bengal class Carrier is a combatant warship.
- It is a military ship.
Description (Specifications)
The flagships of local squadrons, designed and built on Bain (world), these carriers are tiny by confederate standards. More than half of the crew are fighter pilots. They carry a single missile bay to bombard enemy targets. They carry a pair of small composite fighter squadrons and each is a blend of different designs. The hull is partially streamlined for gas giant refueling. A slightly obsolete Model 3 fib computer is installed. There is enough fuel on board for two jump 1s.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
