Description
Designed and built at Dal Hallen for the Rimward Federation. These ships operate within the Far Home Sector. The TL–10 hulls have jump 1 drives and carry enough internal fuel for four jumps, and carry drop tanks with 28 days of power plant fuel and an additional jump as needed. There are in service with the Federation Navy. They can carry four of the 1,000 ton TL–11 Peset Class Asteroid Monitors or two of the 2,000 ton TL–9 Nassin Class System Defense Boats. They are dispersed structure hulls for rapid deployment and recovery. They have fuel refineries, but are not well suited to wilderness refueling operations, unassisted. They can carry 300 marines and have a 40 ton recovery boat. The weapons include forty triple beam laser turrets, twenty dual plasma gun turrets, a particle accelerator bay, and two missile bays for offense. They have thirty triple sand caster turrets for defense. They have a pair of model 4 fib computers and are capable of 1 G acceleration and have no agility rating.
