Zdalzi

A Minor Race native to the planet Zdalzi in Yiklerzdanzh Sector. The shared racial and planetary name is of Zdetl origin, and is used by most Humans who interact with this species.

The Zdalzi are short and generally humanoid, stocky with long arms and faces, descended from omnivore stock. They have strands of hair under the chin and from the lower half of the back of the skull, but nowhere else.

Zdalzi are politically diverse; there are 54 governments on their homeworld; the most significant four having 20%, 15%, 10% and 10% of the total population.

Nations that can afford to do so send some of their people offworld for training or to serve aboard merchant ships for extra experience. A few Zdalzi are sufficiently rich to have purchased their own free traders.

Worlds and Populations

Notable Zdalzi populations are established on four worlds: high population Zdalzi itself; relatively heavily populated Viezhzdi' Shtaf; the stellar research outpost at Plafrezhdish; and the mining outpost on Chablzhdia. All four are in the String of Pearls Subsector.
