Wiki Mechanic

Wiki Mechanics are coding or organizational devices used at the Traveller RPG Wiki. They are a combination of Wiki PHP code and homegrown coding devices.

Description (Specifications)

Wiki Mechanics use a variety of concepts, code, and ideas from a variety of sources such as the original Wiki, reference books, library science technology, and some ideas distinctive to the Traveller RPG Wiki.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Traveller RPG Wiki was founded by Dan Corrin with the permission of Marc Miller in 2006. Founded on Wikia, an effort by the team running Wikipedia to allow people to have wiki for their private project which didn't fit on Wikipedia. The evolving copyright policy of Wikia was incompatible with the Far Future Enterprises fair use policy. In 2014 CE, the wiki was moved to the current Traveller RPG Wiki hosting site.
