The Vol*x are a technologically competent Minor Non-Human Race with a Non-humanoid appearance.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
One of three known arachnid-form creatures in charted space, the other two are the Graytch and the Brinn.
They are huge beings, an adult Vol*x stands nearly 4 meters tall and its footprint is over 6 meters in radius. An almost snake-like extendible neck and head extends from the front of the body, and is long enough to reach down to the ground well in front of the body. The Vol*X are slow, studied creatures.
One of their most bizarre features is that their "mouth" contains four limbs which are part tongue, part hand/arm, and part tentacle. To handle anything the Vol*x opens it mouth around the object and extends it "arms" to manipulate it.
