Mainworld Geography and Topography

The unique geological processes of this world form a number of unique or very rare minerals, including an iridescent class of minerals called rabloeites. These fetch premium prices as far away as Core Sector.

Sant Rabloes is known for its late summer wet monsoons, bringing heavy rains and flooding, and late winter dry monsoons that bring dust laden with hazardous particulates out from the arid centres of its continents. Only in the period between the wet and dry monsoons are the particulates washed away to the extent that they do not cause respiratory distress.

History & Background (Dossier)

After the discovery of rabloeites, Sant Rabloes was colonized in -762 from Garrone (now Stormhaven). It declared its independence in -402, but has a mutual defence treaty with the modern Stormhaven Republic.

Sant Rabloes has gained protection from ihatei encroachment by allowing the settlement of the Aslan Htearlaaoiyoya clan to provide military service and protection.

World Starport

Sant Rabloes has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
