Rimward Deep

The Rimward Deep is a Shadow Rift lying within Perfection Sector, within the Empty Stars.

• It is an astrographic feature and a rift.

Details / Specifications

The Deep has approximate dimensions of around 20 parsecs coreward-rimward and around 40 parsecs spinward-trailing. it dominates the rimward half of the sector.

History

The Rimward Deep was first charted by ultra-long-range scans performed by vessels from the Last Armada around 2255AD. Its exact position and dimensions were plotted by the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program between 5520AD and 5550AD.
