The Order of the Third Imperium is one of the most common Imperial Orders of Knighthood in the Third Imperium. [1] [2] [3]

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The position of Grand Master of the Order of the Third Imperium is held by the Emperor and is (alongside the Order of the Knights Imperial) the largest Order of Knighthood in the Imperium. It is overwhelmingly populated by Ceremonial and Honor Knights, with a minority of Landed Knights. It, along with the Honorable Order of the Emperor's Guard, are the two most common orders of Knighthood in the Imperium. The Order of the Third Imperium is an Unlimited Order in terms of its membership.


The subdivisions of the Order of the Third Imperium include [4]:

  • Knight/Dame Grand Commander of the Third Imperium (G.C.T.I.)
  • Knight/Dame Commander of the Third Imperium (K.C.T.I. / D.C.T.I.)
  • Knight/Dame of the Third Imperium (K.T.I. / D.T.I.)
  • Companion of the Third Imperium (C.T.I.)

The Order of the Third Imperium is one of the Orders of Knighthood belonging to the Knights Ordinary, a group comprised of three Orders of Knighthood with a common origin that are the most common Imperial Orders of Knighthood in the Third Imperium. [5]
