History & Background[edit]

Neefi is highly unusual in that most local government decisions are made by children. This is due to the bond formed between young Humans and the native lifeform knowns as the roggat. A furred sea creature with glide-enabling wings, the roggat is indifferent to adults but seems to have a strong affinity to Human children. Early in the colonization of Neefi, settlers discovered that the roggats followed the same prey as the Humans, and were willing to share their catches with children. Thus, adults follow the lead of their young who cultivate relationships with the roggat.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]

Neefi, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.

World Economy[edit]

Local eel-like creatures are exported as a foodstuff and as raw stock for several major pharmaceutical products.
