Mimishka has an unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Laraa Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Mimishka, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. During the Long Night this world was named Nirash An.

History and Background

Mimishka is the site of a small research base run jointly by Ling-Standard Products Frontier Exploration Division and the planetography department of the University of Korvell-Medurma. The base is present on the world to investigate potential mining sites, with the eventual aim of providing raw materials for the heavy industry on Medurma (Dagudashaag 2124). The class-A starport has been built on an island off the coast of the single inhabited continent, where the sole way of life is farming the poor soil.

World Starport (St)

Mimishka has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
