The Menetha are an extinct Minor Race with a humanoid appearance. Their homeworld is unknown.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Menetha are believed to have been bipedal and similar to Humaniti in overall layout of limbs. Too little of them remains accessible to reconstruct them with any accuracy, however. There is some speculation among non-K'kree archeologists that the Menetha were a Minor Human Race, but no solid evidence is available.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Menetha originated on one of the worlds in Kilong Sector. They were spread thinly across Kilong (and possibly further) via NAFAL drives millennia before the K'kree arrived. They had surged in and out of isolated but civilized status several times, each world rising and falling on its own, attempting to reunite their scattered populations, and ultimately failing. A people of strong passions, failure was frequently catastrophic, and the bones of their prior failures could be seen around them during each attempt.
All of their worlds were coincidentally deep in decline when the K'kree swept into X'kug and Kilong, and some escaped notice for centuries. Their penchant for friendly biospheres and their meat-leaning omnivory eventually led to their repeated discovery. Much like the Droyne in Human space, their diverse colonies were not initially recognized as having anything in common; the branches of the K'kree Crusade frequently didn't communicate between themselves, and the settled Bosses who followed them didn't engage in details when reporting vermin exterminations. Eventually, though, the connections were discovered, and the Bosses of the entire region undertook a concerted effort to identify the last traces of the Menetha on world after world, which the K'kree military then exterminated.
While there may still be an undiscovered population of Menetha in or near K'kree space, the K'kree deny that they ever existed, and it would take extensive archeological investigation (that the K'kree are unlikely to allow) to figure out which worlds they once occupied.
