Description (Specifications)[edit]
Mendel class Heavy Bomber (TECH LEVEL 10) manufactured on Mosant in the Ragol Subsector or the Course Sector B667656-A. The airplane has a crew of 4, a pilot, co-pilot, a gunner/radio operator and a bombardier/navigator. The pilots have complex cockpits with simple controls. The other crew have crew stations. The fast subsonic airframe can carry 30 tons of bombs internally and has a remote turret with two MMGs to fend off enemy fighters.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Only four of these planes have been procured so far. More are on order as budgets allow. They are very large planes built to maximize bomb load. The low speed is a problem but the near unlimited endurance partially compensates. An additional four have been ordered and procured for use in a Mercenary unit called Mendel's Marauders which are currently stationed on Jubb (world).
