Description (Specifications)

The M-3 class Point Defense Vehicle, TL-10: The vehicle has a 3cm Hyper Velocity Electric Action Auto Cannon mounted in the fully rotating turret on the chassis deck. This design served as the basis for the M-30 class Mass Driver Assault Gun's chassis and turret. Speed was a priority with good cross country mobility. It never gets stuck off road. The compact fusion power plant can generate 2 MW of power to produce decent speed. As a result this vehicle is actually faster than some of its contemporaries. The vehicle is NOT sealed against CBR/NBC threats. They are armored to starship hull metal standards.

History & Background (Dossier)

The M-3 class Point Defense Vehicle was designed and manufactured at TL–10, these vehicles are manufactured for Cheryl's Champions to complete the mercenary Dream Ticket on Aramanx/Aramis (Spinward Marches 3005). These were built with money provided upfront by Sternmetal Horizons an interested megacorporation. The total unit budget was MCr30. Direct fire is a last resort for self protection. They tend to take advantage of their strong armor to escort the artillery pieces. Their gun is strong enough to shoot down aircraft, destroy lighter armored vehicles, enemy APCs and SPGs.
