Lauyesyeh is a garden world with an environment conducive to most sophonts. The system has a population between 100 million and a billion sophonts. This world is designated an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor. This is a temperate world, with a climate of average temperatures. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Ushra Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Lauyesyeh, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and a baronet, and the fiefdoms of a baron and a viscount. All four are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. 80% of the world's population is the Major Race Aslan. During the Long Night this world was named Nuupasaag.

	Remarks

History and Background

Lauyesyeh was colonized by starships of the Oakhtai'yal clan in -1008. They originally retreated from full contact with Humans but gradually accepted trade missions which became Human settlements. Today Lauyesyeh is equally populated by Humans and Aslan but governed by the Oakhtai'yalko. The culture is still very Aslan and visitors are warned that duels over offenses, real or imagined, are common.

World Starport (St)

Lauyesyeh has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Linguistic Topography

The following languages are among the most commonly used on this world:

• Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
  • Galaach: An Ushran trade language derived from Anglic, widely spoken throughout the Shallows, Zeda and Ushra subsectors.
• Trokh: The common language of Aslan who conform to the modern monoculture established after the Aslan Cultural Purge.
• Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.

Urbanization

Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.

• Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.

World Government (G)

Lauyesyeh is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are typically young governments, coming as a recent change, and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
