History & Background (Dossier)

The world is dotted with the ruins of human civilization -- many moderate sized cities/towns with ruins of 3 and 4 story buildings. Many are no more than overgrown foundations. Evidence of a sizable population exists, though no more than a handful of people have been contacted. Most of the population seems to just vanish as soon as any kind of ship appears. Officially, the world is listed as barren.

In a recent development, contact was made with a large group (500+) of survivors living in the ruins of a largish city on one of the southern continents. Three Asuran females, claiming to be survivors of a crippled free trader, have gathered locals, and started clearing debris and flora from the area, creating areas among the ruins for small scale farming.
