Description (Specifications)

Jefferson class Supersonic VTOL Airplane (TECH LEVEL 10) used by a mercenary Condotterie company called Jeff's Anti-Lebensgeschwader: These planes are currently deployed on Jubb (world). The vehicle has a crew of 1, a pilot in a complex cockpit with an advanced ejection seat. The plane has powered flight controls in a supersonic VTOL airframe. It can carry 12 parachute capable commandos. A pair of 5.5mm Gatling gun remote turrets were under consideration but had to be scrapped due to excess weight. It has (2) air-air dog fight missiles and carries three tons of bombs on two underwing bomb racks. NOTE the passengers are not equipped to exit the plane safely at supersonic speeds.

Weapons:

• The 2 underwing bomb racks can carry at total of (12) 250kg HE bombs. They use a 30cm HE 36/6/5 warhead. Each bomb costs Cr750 and a full load is included in the plane's price.

• There are (2) 49kg capacity TAC missile launch rails mounted. There is no on-board guidance provided. The missiles have homing guidance packages. They mount 6kg 20cm HEAP 52 warheads for anti-armor work. Two missiles are included in the purchase price.
