History & Background (Dossier)

A major population centre of the Iyeaao'fte, Iuiheasar is dominated by the state religion that also holds sway on the state's capital of Khteaiwiyftei.

World Starport

Iuiheasear has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• There is an associated Naval Base.

Urbanization

Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.

• Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.

Iuiheasear is governed by a Religious Dictatorship. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy). There is a powerful independent organization, the state religion, which has influence or direct control of the government. Like the bureaucratic governments this may simply be a strong influence with a secular government, be direct influence by virtue of controlling who may be in the leadership, or be a direct theocracy where the church leadership and bureaucracy is the government.

World Military

Spacefaring is seen primarily as a female occupation, with female captains and nearly all-female crew, although low-status males serve as gunners. The Iyeaao'fte army combat personnel, meanwhile, are entirely male.

World Culture

Iyeaao'fte worlds are strict in their foundational Aslan ideologies. Gender roles are much more strictly interpreted than in the Aslan Hierate; succession is determined by duels between potential heirs rather than primogeniture; and the universal penalty for serious honour transgressions is death.
