This design is a large TL-11 Grav APC.
- It is a military vehicle and these vehicles were license built at Jesel (world), along the Distant Fringe. They serve with units of the The Last Line.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Grizzly class 10T Grav APC, TL-11: The vehicle is a wide, flat armored crystaliron slab. It is protected up to starship hull metal standards which allows the design to serve with Protected Forces on hostile worlds. Some complain the armor is lacking, but surviving hard radiation on airless moons took priority over the extra mass required to add armor to a vehicle of this size. The vehicle is sealed with life support for 33. The dismounted troops exit down ramps on either side of the vehicle from the cavernous troop bay. There are two small airlocks. Because of the 149+ tons of armor the size and output of the fusion power plant had to be increased dramatically. A custom 30MW input plasma gun is mounted in the front of the chassis. Within the Armed Forces of the Corolian Jurisdicture these vehicles form the basis for a family of combat vehicles which comprise the bulk of the advanced troop transports for army and marine battalions. There are three crew members a driver/mechanic, gunner, and vehicle commander. They carry a platoon of 30 infantry. Each of these vehicles counts as a platoon and three of them form a small 100-man company. The vehicle has a high profile but no fixed turret. The VRF Gauss Gun and its co-axially laser rifle are mounted in a retractable pop-up remote mount which can rotate 360o on the chassis deck. NOE speed is restricted by the TL–11 avionics installed and not the available thrust. Because it mounts both direct and point defense fire control and the electronics and weapons suite, two qualified mechanic/technicians are required to maintain each vehicle. The driver serves as the crew chief aboard and a second mechanic/technician is embedded with the platoon to help maintain and repair the unit's field kit.
Chassis:[edit]
- Height: 3.5m; Width: 4m; Length: 10m.
- Total usable volume: 140m³
- Total mass loaded: 270.778002 metric tons

Movement:[edit]
The Grav APC generates 2.1 maneuver G's with the plasma weapon OFF and 0.99G's with the weapon powered up.
- With weapons ON the maximum speed is 1,193kph/994cm, cruise speed is 894kph/745cm; NOP 150kph/125cm.
- With weapons OFF the maximum speed is 2,176kph/1,813cm; cruise speed is 1,632kph/1,360cm; NOP 150kph/125cm.
Movement effect on fire: None
Weapons:[edit]
Full weapons stabilization.
Forward Chassis Mounted 30MW Input Plasma Gun[edit]
The fully stabilized forward chassis mounted Plasma Gun is a custom design. It has 30MW input and 7.2MW output. It is fitted with TL–11 direct fire control. The vehicle utilizes pop-up tactics to work as a tank destroyer and assault gun. The weapon is automatically spotted when it fires and can engage a single target/fire phase. Some ranges are limited by the available fire control and not the weapon's energetics. It has the following direct fire characteristics:
| Effective Range, (direct penetration), burst radius (and burst penetration) | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 2.68km (61)4cm(45) | 4.5km (48)3cm(32) | 8km (22)1cm(6) |
The retractable, pop-up mounted VRF Gauss Gun[edit]
This remotely operated weapon system emerges onto the chassis deck and is fitted with TL–11 point defense fire control. It rolls 8d6 versus indirect fire missions, grenades, drones, and missiles. There are five ammo hoppers with 150,000 rounds, enough to allow 115 fire phases of sustained fire. It can engage 16 targets in 15 seconds and has a +4 signature. It has the following direct fire characteristics:
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 1.5 km (21)+8 | 3 km (19)+6 | 4.5 km (17)+3 |
Co-Axially Mounted TL 9 Laser Rifle[edit]
A Laser Rifle is mounted alongside the VRF Gauss Gun. It can be used to designate targets for the missiles on-board. It has a 100-shot battery. The direct fire characteristics are:
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 180m (9) | 360m (4) | 1.8 km (1) |
TAC Missiles[edit]
There are (10) 60kg capacity vertical launch silos mounted in the chassis. These missiles leave the vehicle via the chassis deck. These missiles use a 6kg 20cm HEAP 53 warhead and are fitted with a variety of five guidance packages. Typically two of each type of missile are included in the purchase price. Two crew members are required to reload these launch tubes, and no reloads are typically carried on the vehicle. The homing missiles struggle to achieve intercepts against vehicles protected with advanced ECM abilities. The missiles are designed to take full advantage of the vehicle's target acquisition RADAR system.
| Type | Range | Price |
| (2) Homing HEAP 53 | 49km or 39km with +10 hypervelocity DM | Cr389 |
| (2) Teleguided HEAP 53 | 30km or 20km with +10 hypervelocity DM | Cr1,787 |
| (2) Target Designated HEAP 53 | 49km or 39km with +10 hypervelocity DM | Cr489 |
| (2) IR Follow-up HEAP +8 | 49km or 39km with +10 hypervelocity DM | Cr489 |
| (2) Operator Guided with Radio Command Link HEAP 53 | 39km or 29km with +10 hypervelocity DM | Cr288 |
Power / Equipment:[edit]

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
Historically a lone scout/sniper equipped with a Grav Belt or in older times mounted on a Grav Bike was added to compliment the three platoons of 33, to bring the company to a round 100. A local baron liked the way a ten-by-ten grid of soldiers looked on the parade ground and felt the 99-man company formation looked unbalanced. A close support battery of seven large, dedicated missile carriers were typically added to the battalion roster. The less glamourous and pragmatic support, utility units and HQ vehicles do not parade march.
