Gishdag Khuulam Aid Organisation is an emergency aid organization.

Description (Specifications)[edit]
An aid organization based at Mora, in the Spinward Marches. It was founded by Mishkige Aarkhi, an Imperial industrialist turned philanthropist. The current executive director is Lurama Gaaman Aarkhi, the founder's great granddaughter.
GKAO assists in disaster relief efforts and emergency assistance, particularly across the Imperial parts of the Spinward Marches and the spinward edge of Deneb Sector.
It maintains a small fleet of high jump vessels, most of which were donated by other organizations such as the Imperial Navy, and maintains stockpiles of useful equipment and materials. Many of its personnel have military backgrounds.
- It occasionally hires freelance personnel to assist in operations, particulary when additional security is required

The organization was established in 990, when the founder's two sons were injured in separate incidents.
It attempts to remain strictly apolitical, although accusations of humaniti-centric bias have occasionally surfaced.
