Ffort is a nonindustrial, pre-rich water world, which has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It still lacks adequate population to expand its economy to a rich status.
- Its economy is growing and living conditions are expected to rise in the near future barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Zukhumi Subsector of Delphi Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
- This world has an Imperial Way Station.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
This world is part of the Delphi Main.
Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Eager to reclaim the opportunity for long-range mercantile endeavour that they'd lost after the Consolidation Wars, the Bhunj embraced Solomani freedoms of the Rule of Man. They established a series of outposts to support expeditions to major worlds like Ychea, Lashkagur and Anaxias. This path, rimward through Fornast and Delphi, was as follows:
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Ffort, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the estate of a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversees affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight, the Imperial representative to the world.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial baronet.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Ffort has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
