Emil Horvath

(2119AD–2324AD): Emil Zalan Horvath was an early scientific leader of some repute within the Distant Fringe.

Description

An early member of a prominent Five dynasty and highly regarded as an animal breeder.

History & Background

Horvath was born on Terra, in central Europe, during the early 22nd century. He is known to have been a scientific adviser to the Expedition and to have travelled aboard the Last Armada, spending nearly a century in cold sleep. He was present at Year One and received a substantial grant of land on Uffan (2209 Halcyon) in 2257AD. He began the first large-scale horse stables and stud programs in the Distant Fringe during the late 23rd and early 24th centuries, starting with animals grown in GenPods using embryos transported from Terra. Horvath's Pony, by far the most common riding animal within the Distant Fringe, is named for him.
