The EPDF-4 Ambrose class Tracked Ambulance is a later industrial era TL-6 Armored Fighting Vehicle.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

EPDF-4 Ambrose class Tracked Ambulance, TL-6: The vehicle is very lightly armored with an improved internal combustion power plant and transmission are linked to a tracked suspension. They are slow, but have low ground pressure, therefore they never get stuck off road, they are amphibious and can float, using their tracks to propel them through the water. They carry a TL–6 company casualty clearing station packed away which must be dismounted and erected to triage patients. They are sealed with over pressure to combat NBC/CBR threats. They are armed with an unstabilized HMG cupola, positioned forward and to the right over the commander's position, the driver sits to his left. They carry a battery of four large, wire guided anti-tank missiles on the rear of the chassis deck. A single mechanic with access to the right tools and a workshop can service, repair and maintain these vehicles.

The vehicle has a crew of two, the driver/mechanic and the gunner/commander. They can carry eight medical personnel who typically dismount to man the surgical suite, 2 medics will ride along when they are tasked with casualty evacuation, most of that work is done by the ambulances.

These weapons are operator guided and are not subject to ECM jamming. Four missiles are included in the vehicle purchase price.
