Duni War

The Duni War of 1086 was a brief regional conflict in Alpha Crucis between the Commonwealth of Gadjick and the Solomani Confederation.

History & Background (Dossier)

In 1086, the Commonwealth launched a surprise invasion of the disputed Duni system (Alpha Crucis 3130) in Galloway Subsector, quickly overwhelming the small Home Guard.

• In response, the Confederation initiated Operation Black Swan, during which a single Confederation fleet was able to defeat the upstart Commonwealth force, destroying a naval base at Potena (Alpha Crucis 3129).
• The Commonwealth quickly capitulated and was forced to sign a humiliating peace treaty.
• Since the Duni War, the Confederation has established new naval bases in Addison and Galloway subsectors to watch over Gadjick.
