Mainworld Topography and Geography

This is an extremely warm world. The few major bodies of water are located in the higher latitudes. The cities of Angim and Hyklar are located near the north pole, and Lutem, Carmel and Kishab near the south; the equatorial regions are desert or scrubland. The world consists of a single tectonic plate, and has no natural satellites; thus there are few tremors, minimal tides, and little mountain-building.

Native Lifeforms

Desert-dwelling animals include the ramalliot, a large pouncer with ape-like intelligence found in the mid-to-upper latitudes, and the omnivorous rodentlike desert scew, the flesh of which is considered an exquisite delicacy.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
