Description (Specifications)

An aquatic race resulting from the genetic manipulation of dolphins; possibly by the Ancients. They have arms and legs, and can move on land or underwater.

Diet

Fish is the staple diet of the Chokari. Although all Chokari are capable of catching their own fish, those who have other jobs prefer to buy supplies from the markets or local merchants. All tribes have their own fish farms to prevent overfishing of wild stock. Another common food for the Chokari is seaweed. The underwater plants on Foelen are full of nutrients and can be dried to give a shelf life of up to three months. Most tribes again have seaweed farms to feed the population.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Chokari have good relations with the Dolphins of Foelen, though the two races live apart. They banter about their shared heritage, with the Dolphins joking that the Chokari became part Human, and so imperfect. The Chokari are disturbed to think of the experimentation performed on their own Dolphin ancestors, and resent the Ancients. They are also displeased with the Zhodani rule over their world, though they assume the situation is non-permanent.
