History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

An initial order of three custom proto-type Champion class Heavy Bombers planes was made. Cheryl felt she needed a large devastating bomb delivery platform that could operate close to the front lines with minimal support. The first saw combat in her inaugural mercenary ticket for use on Aramanx/Aramis (Spinward Marches 3005). Rumor is she plans to acquire more as soon as finances permit. These were designed for a mercenary Dream Ticket, to be built with money provided upfront by Sternmetal Horizons an interested megacorporation. The total unit budget was MCr30. They are large, expensive planes with a cavernous weapon bay and powerful engines to arrive alive as soon as possible over unsuspecting targets. The extensive ECM makes it difficult to target with native RADAR, they can fly in a low profile nape of earth mode with their avionics package. Skilled forward observers are required to coordinate these planes for close air support.
