Description (Specifications)[edit]
CDS-2 Supersonic VTOL Airplane (TECH LEVEL 11) used by a mercenary Condotterie company called Jona's Juggernaut of Justice: The vehicle was designed and built on Cydia (world). The vehicle has a crew of 4, a pilot and co-pilot in complex cockpits with rocket escape, and two weapon specialists in crew stations which are also equipped with rocket escape. The plane has computer enhanced controls in a supersonic airframe. It can carry 12 parachute capable commandos. It is armed with two remote turrets. Each turret carries two laser rifles. It has (6) air-air dog fight missiles and carries one ton of bombs in an internal bomb bay. The rocket escape packages were a hold over from when the design was intended to be hypersonic. Cost overruns and available ramjet engines precluded this option. Quick and agile, it features a high service ceiling on the edge of space. NOTE the passengers are not equipped to exit the plane safely at supersonic speeds.

- Weapons:
- The 1 ton capacity internal bomb bay can carry (20) 50kg laser guided HE bombs. They use a 19cm HE 30/4/5 warhead. Each bomb costs Cr550 and a full load is included in the plane's price.
- There are two remotely operated turrets. One is dorsally mounted and one is ventral. Each turret mounts two TL–9 Laser Rifles and each turret can engage two targets/phase. They require no fire control system and have full weapon stabilization. Each air cooled laser has its own dedicated 100 shot battery. Their direct fire characteristics are:

- There are (6) 50kg capacity Stalker TAC missile launch rails mounted. There is no on-board guidance provided. The missiles have homing guidance packages. They mount 19cm HE 30/4/5 warheads for air-to-air targets. Six missiles are included in the purchase price.
