Agiguki is a nonindustrial vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a member of the Third Empire of Gashikan in the Paanir Subsector of Gashikan Sector.
- This world is a colony of, and controlled from, Kukirkidni.
- This world supports a nearby Gashikan Scout Base.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
This system is part of the great main known as the Nudashiir Lagani.
Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Agiguki has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Agiguki has a population of 80,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
- The population consists primarily of Humans of mixed Yilean descent.
World Languages[edit]
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Agiguki possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Agiguki has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. This is a colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
Governance of this world is from Kukirkidni.
As a member of the Gashikan Empire, this world's controlling nation has a Velja. A planet's Velja has veto power over all decisions made by the planetary government relating to space travel, defense, or interactions with other worlds.
Information and Media[edit]
The Ministry of Information and Safety (MIS) is technically an arm of the imperial Gashikan government, but in many ways it behaves independently. The Ministry's ostensible mission is to prevent the spread of damaging Vargr propaganda, and to promote peace and unity throughout the Empire. To accomplish these goals, its agents maintain careful control of all news and information.
World Law (L)[edit]
Agiguki has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
