Aek Elakfough is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and is also a low-population vacuum environment with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts, warranting hazardous environment precautions.

  • Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
  • It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by Vargr sophonts located in the Lianic Subsector of Gvurrdon Sector.

Description (Planetology)[edit]

This system is part of the Qadre'idr Main (translated from the Zdetl as Forceful Arm or Forceful Reach).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Aek Elakfough ("black cauldron" in Arrghoun) is a vacuum system located in the Lianic Subsector of the Gvurrdon Sector.

This system has experienced a booming belting industry. In 1112 large amounts of Titanium and Yttrium (which are used in the superconductive coils of grav vehicle modules) were discovered. Both of the belts in the system have proven to be rich in both substances. The number of inhabitants has exploded since the news became public. This forced the system owners to build a fairly large space habitat. It is a wheel that revolves to create gravity. It is known simply by the name of Aek Wheel ("Black Wheel").

World Starport[edit]

Rraegnaell Oukh.jpg

Aek Elakfough has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

  • Rraegnaell Oukh, an interfacing line, purchased the entire Beltport called the Black Wheel from the locals, but then upgraded it to Class-A Starport and re-opened for business as a "stepping stone" between the Zhodani Consulate and the Vargr Extents.

World Population (P)[edit]

Aek Elakfough has a population of 2,000 sophonts (thousands).

  • This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without a little outside assistance. This may represent the home base of a sizable but mostly transient population such as the base of a major starship expedition, the last generation of a dying colony, the first generation of a new colony, or a large outpost that will probably evolve into a colony if not stopped.
