- It is a cluster.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Hammer Cluster is a small cluster of worlds straddling the border between Stellar Chorus Subsector, Wyld Worlds Subsector, Dlarashtsalash Subsector, and Izh Kriezhlal Subsector.
- It contains 11 systems, 5 of which are barren and remain unclaimed.
- An additional secondary world in the Fafrekolefransh system is also detailed.
- The cluster is named for the extremely luminous red bright giant star of the Hammer system.
- It lies between the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity and the Carillon Harmonies.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Izrats Kriezhlas Unity has turned its eyes towards the worlds of the Cluster with a view to future settlement -- two of the cluster's worlds have been established as Unity client states. The Carillon Harmonies have similar regional interests, which has increasingly brought them into conflict with the Vlazhdumecta. The Droyne enclave on Soyayt, on the trailing edge of the cluster, resents this increasing intrusion into their solitude.
- Military vessels from each interest patrol the cluster's systems.
Zhodani Shadow[edit]
The Cluster lies within the Zhodani Shadow, a region strongly influenced by the society and culture of the Zhodani.
- Zdetl is commonly spoken and serves as a useful lingua franca.
