(IXa) Risa is the only major satellite of Nerent and is designated the mainworld. It orbits Nerent at a mean distance of 25 Diameters (XXX,XXX km), it has an orbital period of 14 days 5 hours and has a rotation period of 14 days 5 hours – it is tidally locked to its parent world. The axial tilt is 7.5 degrees. Risa has a diameter of 5,004 km, a density of 5.88 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.42 G. Its atmosphere is rated as Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.43 bar and a composition of 81% nitrogen, 18% oxygen, and 1% argon, carbon dioxide, neon and other trace gases. Approximately 2% of the surface is covered in lakes of liquid water. Mean surface temperature: 34°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and powerful weather systems, driven by the star, roll across the globe. The climate is seasonal and weather patterns follow regular cycles during the local year.
