Description (Specifications)
Jefferson class 2T Grav Tank, TL-10: A small unit of these Light Tanks are currently serving on Jubb (world). They are not rated for Protected Forces duty. They carry three crew (driver, gunner and commander). This design is sealed with life support for the crew in vacuum and Protected Forces roles. Its small size necessitates trade-offs with light armor, and reduced speed due to the input required for the custom pulse laser. They have radically sloped frontal armor on the chassis and turret. Traditionally deployed in platoons of four tanks with 12 crew, support units are concentrated at higher levels. They are considered inexpensive for a Grav Tank and operational endurance is relatively good. A vehicle mechanic and a weapon maintenance and electronics repair technician should be allocated to keep these vehicles operational.

Movement:
The Grav Tank has two different modes: Weapons Powered and Weapons Off. The Grav Tank has 1.87 maneuver Gs when the pulse laser is powered down and 0.43 maneuver Gs when the weapon is ready to fire. NOE flight is limited by available TL–11 avionics and 840/420 tons of available thrust which depend upon the status of the pulse laser.

- Weapons Powered mode: Maximum, 526kph / 439cm; Cruise, 395kph / 329cm, NOE 131kph/109cm.
- Weapons Off mode: Maximum, 1,990kph / 1,659cm; Cruise, 1,493kph/ 1,244cm, NOE 150kph/125cm.
- Movement effect on fire: None
Weapons:
Full weapons stabilization.
Turret Mounted 42MW Pulse Laser
This single lens pulse laser has both 42MW input and output. Its use curtails the vehicle's top speed. It is fitted with TL–11 direct fire control. The weapon's maximum potential range is greatly restricted by the available fire control system. It enjoys effective penetration out to the limits of the fire control system. This weapon can be used to designate targets out to the limits of the 40-power target acquisition RADAR installed. It can outrange several contemporary plasma weapons mounted on rival designs. It has +11 signature when it fires and has 42MW/second batteries. It can engage a single target per firing phase and its direct fire characteristics are:
Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
3.5km (71) | 4.5km (71) | 8km (71) |
Turret Mounted 8cm Single Barreled, Hyper Velocity, Electric Action Autocannon
This 8cm autocannon is mounted in the stabilized turret (1mx2mx3m=6m3) next to the pulse laser, on the chassis deck. This weapon is equipped with with TL–11 indirect fire control and TL–10 direct fire control. It is also equipped with a crude TL–5 fire direction center so that each vehicle can conduct a single target indirect fire mission without needing a communication link with a higher echelon. The weapon only requires a single gunner to operate. The vehicle requires 8 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. The vehicle can't move while engaged in indirect fire missions. The vehicle has a ROF 20 and rounds mass 14kg. It carries 400 rounds (200 RAP) of ammunition enough for 20 fire missions. It has +2 signature when it fires. The vehicle is provided with a combination of 19 fire mission's worth of HE and 1 fire mission of Smoke with the purchase price. Other types of rounds are available and listed below. It can engage 2 target in 15 seconds and it has the following direct fire characteristics:
Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
3 km (37)+2 w/KEAP | 4 km (33)+1 | 5.5 km (29)+0 |
Range | Accuracy |
12km (18km w/RAP) | (+2) |
24km (36km w/RAP) | (-2) |

TAC Missile Launchers
There are two 49kg capacity, magazine fed tube launchers in the turret mounted on the chassis deck. They use a 6kg 20cm HEAP 53 warheads. It takes a single crew member to manually reload these missiles internally if additional rounds are available. The homing missiles struggle to achieve intercepts against vehicles protected with advanced ECM abilities. The launchers are equipped to support operator guided missiles with a radio command link and teleguided missiles with a radio command link. Jamming is a concern for this system. Each launcher has magazine capacity for twenty missiles. An assortment of forty missiles is detailed below and are included in the purchase price.
Type | Range | Price |
(8) Homing | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr378 |
(8) Target Designated | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr478 |
(8) IR Follow-up +8 HEAP Penetration | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr478 |
