The Jefferson class 2T Grav Tank serves with the Jeff's Anti-Lebensgeschwader.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Jefferson class 2T Grav Tank, TL-10: A small unit of these Light Tanks are currently serving on Jubb (world). The armor is not rated for Protected Forces duty. They carry three crew (driver, gunner and commander). This design is sealed with life support for the crew versus NBC/CBR threats. Its small size necessitates trade-offs with light armor, and reduced speed due to the input required for the custom pulse laser. They have radically sloped frontal armor on the chassis and turret. Traditionally deployed in platoons of four tanks with 12 crew, support units are concentrated at higher levels. They are considered inexpensive for a Grav Tank and operational endurance is relatively good. A vehicle mechanic and a weapon maintenance and electronics repair technician should be allocated to keep these vehicles operational.

Chassis:[edit]
- Height: 1.4m (+0.771428571m turret); Width: 2.8m; Length: 7m.
- Total usable volume: 28m³
- Total mass loaded: 56.45785464 metric tons.
- Hull Material: Crystaliron
- Armor: Chassis and Turret front 35, Turret and Chassis sides, rear, belly and deck 27.
- Target Size DMs: +1 low, +1 high hits
- Production Cost: Cr1,824,758.07
Movement:[edit]
Half of the vehicle's power goes to the laser and the other half goes to the anti-grav plates. The Grav Tank has 0.59 maneuver Gs. NOE flight is limited by available TL–10 avionics and 90 tons of available thrust.
- Speed:
- Maximum, 712kph / 594cm; Cruise, 534kph / 445cm, NOE 140kph/117cm.
- Movement effect on fire: None
Weapons:[edit]
Full weapons stabilization.
Turret Mounted 9MW Pulse Laser[edit]
This single lens pulse laser has both 9MW input and output. Its use curtails the vehicle's top speed. It is fitted with TL–10 direct fire control. The weapon's maximum potential range is greatly restricted by the available fire control system. Its effective penetration diminishes out to the limits of the fire control system. This weapon can be used to designate targets out to the limits of the 10-power target acquisition RADAR installed. It can outrange several contemporary plasma weapons mounted on rival designs. It has +3 signature when it fires and has 9MW/second batteries. It can engage a single target per firing phase and its direct fire characteristics are:
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 3km (53) | 4km (45) | 5.5km (37) |
7mm Gatling Gun[edit]
Mounted in the fully stabilized turret (0.771428571mx2mx4.9m=6.048m3) on the chassis deck, co-axially with the pulse laser is a 7mm Gatling gun. Its ROF is 1,280 and can engage 16 targets/fire phase and has a +5 signature when it fires. There is storage for 25,600 rounds, which is enough for 20 fire phases. Its direct fire characteristics are as follows:
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 400m (3) +8 | 750m (2) +6 | 1,200m (2) +3 |
TAC Missile Launchers[edit]
There are two 49kg capacity, magazine fed tube launchers in the turret mounted on the chassis deck. They use a 6kg 20cm HEAP 52 warheads. It takes a single crew member to manually reload these missiles internally if additional rounds are available. The homing missiles struggle to achieve intercepts against vehicles protected with advanced ECM abilities. Each launcher has magazine capacity for twenty missiles. Forty homing missiles are included in the purchase price. Other options are listed below.
| Type | Range | Price |
| (40) Homing | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr378 |
| Target Designated | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr678 |
| IR Follow-up +8 HEAP Penetration | 34 km or 24km +10 DM | Cr478 |
Power / Equipment:[edit]
- Power: a 18-megawatt fusion power plant
- consumes 27 liters of fuel/ hour; fuel capacity 7,249.96429 liters, enough for 268 hours or ~11 days.
- Sealed environment with extended life support for 3 crew (proof against CBR/NBC threats);
- 10 bottles of prismatic aerosols
- TL–10 Avionics
- Map box w/GPS
- Thermal and image enhancement
- 500 power radio
- 10 power target acquisition RADAR
Maintenance[edit]
