Description / Specifications
Poor worlds have marginal environmental conditions. Their atmospheres are at best thin and they have little surface water.
Planetary Characteristics
- 3 or less (below 35%).
Poor worlds may also be Hell Worlds or Desert Worlds.
Probable Planetary Orbit & Climate
Poor worlds occur where it is possible to retain a suitable kind of atmosphere.
- Inner system worlds, orbiting close to their star, may be too hot to retain any of the required atmosphere types.
- Likewise, outer system worlds, orbiting far from their star, may be too cold to retain the required types of atmosphere.
