Description (Specifications)
The rank of Sergeant is, in some forces split into various sub-ranks e.g. Station Sergeant (the most senior Sergeant in the police station).
The rank of Sergeant will often , within the uniformed branch of a Police Force, be prefixed by the role within a station that is being undertaken. e.g. Custody Sergeant; Desk Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, etc.
