Scion Sentry model Hovercraft (TECH LEVEL 8)
The planet of Kaashik (world) maintains an old reserve unit called the Scion Light Brigade. Their battalions deploy these vehicles. Each Hovercraft can deploy an infantry section of 16 dismounted infantry who exit through an airlock and rear exit ramp. Anti-tank platoons consist of two of these vehicles with two sections of infantry dedicated and specially trained to stop enemy armor formations with addition light portable shoulder fired TAC missile packages and AT mines. This basic model serves as the basis for a whole family of variants. These air cushion vehicles, rely on ground effects from vectored thrust to move at NOE but pay double movement for broken ground, on gentle slopes and sparse undergrowth. They may not climb steep slope gradients, enter boulder fields nor dense undergrowth. Their current light composite laminate armor allows cautious amphibious operations. They have radically sloped frontal armor on the chassis and turret and are lightly armored to resist small arms fire and shell fragments. They are sealed and equipped with overpressure to resist NBC/CBR threats. They can't maneuver in the absence of an atmosphere. They carry three crew, a driver, gunner and commander. They require water access or wide-open spaces to fully exploit their top speed, obstacle and collision avoidance is largely a matter of luck or faith. The theory was that their speed would allow them to avoid danger and therefore they didn't need to carry as much armor.

- a standard 9.9-megawatt MHD turbine power plant consumes 2,970 liters of fuel/ hour
- Fuel capacity 48,287.075 liters, enough for 16 hours.
- Power to weight ratio is 108.
Weapons:
There is 4.8m3 turret (1m tall, 2m wide, 3m long) on the chassis deck. There are a pair of independently targetable remote mounts, one for the right flank and the other covers the left flank of the vehicle.
They each mount a photon cannons in the local parlance equal to a TL–8 laser carbines in performance. Each has its own stabilized remote mount for anti-personnel and target designation work. It has a 50-shot battery. The direct fire characteristics are:
| Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
| 150m (7) | 300m (3) | 1.5 km (1) |
Seeker TAC Missile System
There are twenty 35kg capacity launch tubes firing from the turret on the chassis deck. Ten of the missiles use 20cm 6kg HEAP 50 warheads fitted with homing guidance for fire and forget (FAF) performance. The penetration is further enhanced by ten IR Follow-up missiles which increase penetration +8. This combination can defeat most armor profiles this vehicle is deployed against. The vehicle does not require only board guidance for this package as the weapons seek targets autonomously once selected and ripple fired by the crew. The crew must set if the fuel burn is for long range or a short-range fast intercept. All twenty missiles described are included in the vehicle purchase price. No reloads are typically carried. A single crew member can reload these missiles in the turret.
