Lusliki is a preindustrial, moderate population water world with over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts in population size.

• Its surface is 90% or more covered in an ocean of water.
• The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
• As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
• It is a member of the Rukadukaz Republic, a member of the Julian Protectorate, in the Vector Subsector of Amdukan Sector, which is located in the Vargr Extents.

• This world has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships.
• This world has a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)

Lusliki is the old Vilani subsector capital and the current capital of the Rukadukaz Republic.

History & Background (Dossier)

Lusliki's cultural pennant reflects its homogeneous Vilani population, and its recognition of Vargr authority beyond its atmosphere. There were fourteen separate major revolts against Vargr hegemony historically, since the Vargr Pillaging, and fourteen eventual defeats. As a sign of reconciliation between the Vargr overlords and the Vilani population, modern Lusliki has been recognized as a Notable World in the Rukadukaz Constitution.

Urbanization

The nearly one billion people of this planet live in suboceanic cities that are dug out of the rock of the sea floor, rather than being built up as artificial structures as on other worlds. There are a few small island chains in the only seismically active area of the planet; most of the cities are as far away from them as possible.

• The Imperial Division of the Menderes Corporation is headquartered here. The majority of the Protectorate's trade with the Imperium (specifically, with the Imperial Domain of Antares) goes through the Rukadukaz Republic, making its economy one of the strongest in the Protectorate.
