Buffalo class Light 4x4 Wheeled Battalion Aid Station (TECH LEVEL A)
Based on the chassis of the Buffalo class 4x4 Wheeled Cargo Truck, TL-10: A battalion surgical van was designed but not ultimately adopted for Pam's Peacekeepers a tiny unit of Mercenary Condotterie. A 5m3, 3 ton battalion aid station is packed away on this vehicle which is intended to be unpacked to effectively service wounded emergency surgical patients. The vehicle can carry 5 passengers, usually medical staff, but then ambulatory patients or two stretcher bound WIA. It can still carry 1m3 1 ton of cargo, food, supplies as needed for supporting the unit. It also features a larger fuel tank for extended range. Fully loaded the truck's 5m3 4x4 wheeled suspension requires a lot of extra maintenance. Unfortunately, once fully loaded it can get stuck in the mud 4+ and in soft earth and sand 6+. the ground pressure doesn't result in it getting stuck likes its cousin. Because of the higher ground pressure the cross country speed is only 30% of the road speed. The vehicle is NOT sealed against CBR/NBC threats.
