| Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. | |
The Fornorb class Heavy Merchant is a mercantile starship.
- It is a civilian ship and a Heavy Merchant.
Description (Specifications)
Designed to haul a huge amount of cargo along the mains of the Kline Subsector, these behemoths are built above Kline (world) to efficiently move freight. The passengers are an afterthought and not the real economic concern. It should be noted that lifeboats are not an integral part of the design, although a vast number could be attached to the dispersed hull if so desired.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
