Water is an important, high-population, industrial asteroid belt located in Auva Subsector of Alpha Crucis Sector. The system is a member of the Solomani Confederation and belongs to the Orichalc Regional Defense Association.
Water was an early adherent to the Solomani Movement, sending a large delegation to the first Movement meeting on Terra (Solomani Rim 1827) in 685.
Solomani Chemicals (SolChem), a Solomani sector-wide corporation, has its home port on Water.
