The New Holland Subsector contains 29 worlds with a population of 13.4 billion. The highest population is 4 billion, at Caldron. The highest tech level is E at Waal, Terschelling, Cyclades, Keine and Burton.
Much of New Holland was only settled following the establishment of a long-awaited X-boat link in the 1020s, although a few isolated colonies have existed since the Terran Confederation era.
The subsector has been the scene of the ongoing Brookwall Police Action, the largest-scale Solomani Confederation military operation in the sector since the Solomani Rim War.
