| Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. | |
The Mighty Maelstrom class System Defense Monitor, is a large defensive vessel. It is a streamlined cone structure with a thick armored hull. It carries a spinal mounted meson gun to destroy enemy battleships. The Zhodani have been kind enough to assist moving a few of these to each of the empire's worlds to ensure uniform protection as the empire can't transport craft this large with its own ships.
