History & Background / Dossier
As of 1105, Llizan is being surveyed and initially settled. Funded by a cooperation between the Dhourraz Cornucopia and Cornered Industries Trade Consortium, Llizan is swarmed with a small flotilla of corporate vessels engaged in landing operations of Downport 'modules'. In fact, the local mainworld Downport is barely designated as the Llizan Modular Downs and is initially online by the end of 1105 thanks to the aid of hired, surveyor Travellers present in the subsector at the time.
World Starport
Llizan has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Funded and delivered in sections, the A-rated Downport is named Llizan Modular Downs. The local administration is modeled as a subdivision of a dual-corporation co-op facility and struggles through 1105 to a grand opening and online status for more incoming assets.

Llizan presents an opportunity for the non-aligned Vargr to open a gap in the Crystal Wall of Knoellighz and have interaction and trade with the Zhodani Consulate immediately Spinward. This has previously been accomplished between the Infinity League and the worlds loosely affiliated with Serue (Knoellighz 1221). Two Vargr corporations see an opportunity to make unbiased contact and connections with the Zhodani without influences from the Democracy of Greats or the Ascendancy Pact.
