Asii is a moderate population world with a population size of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Pact Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Asii, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a viscount. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.

  • During the Long Night this world was named Muukhiir Gadep.

Astrography and planetology

Asii has gained a reputation for natural beauty. Among the more well known tourist spots are the vast ice seas, the spectacular Tubewood forests and of course, the aptly named singing caves of the Enishi Desert. Many claim that the winds whistling through the caves call the names of those doomed soon to die.

TBD has a solitary primary star.

History and background

Home to approximately 24,870,000 people, mostly humans of mixed Vilani/Solomani descent. Due to the bitter cold and the thin atmosphere most of the population spend their entire lives within the sealed dome cities each of which are connected by overland monorail links. The world is governed by a surprisingly efficient series of regional councils. Although the attitude is essentially uncaring, each council is observed by ‘watchdog’ committees with the power to disband any that fail to treat the populace properly.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

TBD, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.

World Starport

TBD has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
