The Hinterworlds sector has 436 worlds, of which 395 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the sector is 352 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are 18 High population (Hi) worlds, 29 Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 208 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 125 Low population (Lo) worlds, and two Barren (Ba) worlds. There are 62 Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus 19 Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and 53 Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are 22 Rich (Ri) worlds versus nine Industrial (In) worlds. There are ten Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, 25 Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, 40 Poor (Po) worlds, 85 Vacuum (Va) worlds, and 33 Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are 36 Naval bases in the sector, eight Scout bases, and no Way stations. In Hinterworlds there are four race homeworlds. The Imperial nobility includes two Knights, no Baronets, no Barons, no Marquises, no Viscounts, no Counts, and no Dukes. The highest population world is Anubis (Hinterworlds 2005). The highest tech level is E at Nemini (Hinterworlds 3102), Benson (Hinterworlds 0423), and Tonde Monai (Hinterworlds 0337). The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10).
