Pannet is a non-industrial Imperial world with fluid oceans located on the Spinward Main in Rhylanor Subsector of the Spinward Marches. The name is sometimes spelled "Plannet."

Pannet has an insidious atmosphere tainted with specific contaminants in different regions on the world surface. Harvesting these gases is dangerous employment, but their value in industry on the nearby high-technology worlds of Rhylanor (Spinward Marches 2716), Lunion (Spinward Marches 2124), and Mora (Spinward Marches 3124) makes it highly profitable for companies and workers alike. Several corporations maintain operations on-planet, and the majority of the population are corporate employees engaged in atmospheric extraction.
