RSS LB2014 Received Signal Source Lon Beon Sector 2014.

Details / Specifications

An anomalous signal originating from a trinary star system containing a yellow main sequence star, a red main sequence star, and a red subdwarf star. The signal is infrequent, modulated, and in the 1.2–1.7 GHz range.

History

RSS LB2014 was detected by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey. It became public knowledge following publication of the "Stars of The Rim" Astrographic Survey in 5570AD. The signal may be a false positive, it may be being transmitted by a currently unknown advanced sophont NIL, or it may simply be a natural phenomenon.
